An Android phone (iOS coming soon), a stable internet connection, and about 10 minutes. No server setup, no API keys, no technical background required. RedFinger Operator is zero-deployment by design.

Step 1 Download from an official store

Tencent App Store (应用宝)
Huawei AppGallery
Xiaomi App Store
OPPO / vivo app stores

Search: 红手指Operator or RedFinger Operator. Only download from official stores — third-party sources may distribute modified versions.

iOS: Not yet available as of March 2026. Expected within the month — check official Baidu channels for current status.

Step 2 Register and set up

Open RedFinger Operator and follow the registration prompts
No model selection, no server config — skip straight to the chat interface
Accept the permissions requests that appear during onboarding

Step 3 Grant Accessibility Service

This permission is what allows the Operator engine to physically interact with other apps. Without it, RedFinger Operator can only respond in text — the cross-app automation will not work.

In the app: Settings → Operator → Enable RedFinger
Tap "Allow" on the system Accessibility Service request
Status should change to "Active"

Huawei/Xiaomi/OPPO users: These brands often reset Accessibility permissions after system updates or apply additional restrictions. If the permission reverts, go to your phone's Settings → Accessibility → RedFinger Operator and re-enable all toggles manually.

Privacy note: Accessibility permission is used only to simulate taps and read visible screen content. The Operator cannot access passwords, payment PINs, or encrypted data.

Step 4 Send your first cross-app command

"Open Meituan and find the nearest coffee shop with the highest rating"
"Check my last 5 WeChat messages and summarise them"
"Set a reminder for 8am tomorrow to drink water"

Be specific: Include the app name, the action, and the expected result. "Help me with food" is too vague. "Open Meituan, find [restaurant name], add [item] to cart" works reliably.
