RedFinger Operator is Baidu Intelligent Cloud's mobile AI agent app — launched March 12, 2026 as the world's first native mobile OpenClaw application. It requires no technical setup, runs on Android, and lets you control any app on your phone with a single natural-language instruction.
OpenClaw is the AI agent framework that exploded in early 2026, letting AI actually operate computers rather than just generate text. The original requires technical deployment skills. Before RedFinger Operator, cloud-based services like KimiClaw and MaxClaw offered web-based OpenClaw access — but only in browser form.
RedFinger Operator is the first product to put OpenClaw into a native mobile app, adding Baidu's own mobile AI Agent layer on top for cross-app interactions that web-based services can't do.
The launch triggered a download surge that overwhelmed Baidu's infrastructure, requiring emergency capacity expansion. OpenClaw creator Peter Steinberger called China's AI innovation speed "Amazing" and said he would like to co-develop the product with Baidu.
